Junior / Youth Cricket Playing Divisions

Below is a guideline for which Division to choose at registration.

As part of creating balanced teams and supporting each player’s development, there may be occasions where a player is moved to a different division once teams are finalised. If this change affects the fee for that division, we will let you know and arrange any necessary adjustment.

Division 10 - players up to Year 2

This includes preschoolers and any player who starts the season in Year 2 (Term 4 2025 ) that is in Year 3 by the end of the season (Term 1 2026)

Division 9 - players in Year 3 and 4 

This includes experienced players who are in Year 2 at the start of the season (Term 4 2025) but will be Year 3 by the end of season (Term 1 2026), and players who will start the season in Year 4 but be Year 5 by the end of the season.

Division 8 - players in Year 5 and 6 

This includes players who are in Year 5 and 6 and experienced players who are in Year 4 at the start of the season (Term 4 2025) but will be Year 5 by the end of season (Term 1 2026), and players who will start the season in Year 6 but be Year 7 by the end of the season.

Division 7 - players in Year 7 and 8

This includes players who are in Year 7 and 8 and experienced players  who are in Year 6 at the start of the season (Term 4 2025) but will be Year 7 by the end of season (Term 1 2026), and players who will start the season in Year 8 but be Year 9 by the end of the season.

Division 6 - players in Year 9 and 10

This includes experienced players who are in Year 8 at the start of the season (Term 4 2025) but will be Year 9 by the end of season (Term 1 2026), and players who will start the season in Year 10 but be Year 11 by the end of the season.

Division 5 - players in Year 9 - 13 

This includes players Year 9-13 and experienced players who are in Year 8 at the start of the season (Term 4 2025) but will be Year 9 by the end of season (Term 1 2026).
